Migration Specialist

WHO’S NEEDED


We are looking for an experienced data migration and report creation specialist. If you have experience working with transforming and moving data between systems and can create complex reports, this is the project for you.


WHAT’S THE JOB? 


  • Preparation of data migration strategy.
  • Preparation of data migration tools and supervision of the process.
  • Conducting analysis and client meetings.
  • Creating data transformation scripts and processes.
  • Designing ETL transformations.
  • Writing complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
  • Creating views and cubes for Data Warehouse needs.
  • Creating visual reports.
  • Creating documentation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS: 


  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL in particular on Oracle.
  • Experience with data migration.
  • Experience in report development.
  • Knowledge of REST, SOAP, Queues communication mechanisms and a broad approach to Information Systems Integration.
  • Working with JIRA, Confluence, MS Office.

APPRECIATED SKILLS: 


  • Familiarity with solutions such as GoldenGate.
  • Contact with SAS Viya reports.
  • Experience with any report generation system, printouts ex: Jasper Reports.
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse issues.
  • Knowledge of IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM FileNet and IBM Business Automation Insights solutions.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Grafana, Kibana.
  • Experience working with public sector institutions.
